Who operates this site

Houston Food Fanatics is a Coffee X Media property. Coffee X Media operates shared publishing, commerce, newsletter, attribution and reporting systems that support the site.

Information you choose to provide

When you contact Houston Food Fanatics, join a newsletter or submit a partnership inquiry, information you provide may be stored and used to respond to your request, operate that feature, prevent abuse and maintain operational records. A contact message does not enroll you in marketing newsletters.

Newsletters and your selections

Signing up on this site includes The Fanatic Feed from Houston Food Fanatics. You may separately select additional Coffee X Media newsletters. Those additional choices are optional and are not selected automatically. The signup requires your affirmative email consent.

Coffee X Media records your email address, selected newsletter memberships, consent text and time, and the page where you signed up. MailerLite is the email delivery provider. The signup and delivery systems may process subscription status, confirmation and unsubscribe events, delivery failures and email engagement information such as opens or link clicks. A confirmation step may be required before delivery begins.

Use the unsubscribe link in an email to manage receipt of that email program. Available preference controls and the scope of an unsubscribe request are shown on the linked page. You may also contact us about your newsletter choices.

Site and measurement data

The site may use analytics, campaign attribution, affiliate tracking and similar measurement tools subject to the privacy choices available on the site. These systems may process page paths, referral details, device or browser context, consent state and anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers. Necessary hosting and security systems may process technical request information independently of optional marketing measurement.

Third-party and embedded content

Pages can load images, video players and other resources from third parties, including YouTube and merchandise providers. Loading one of these resources can contact its provider and share technical request information, such as an IP address and browser details, before you press play or follow a link. Further interaction is subject to that provider’s privacy practices. Our optional measurement choice is not a universal control over third-party websites or embedded services.

Retention and service providers

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, operational records, security, legal obligations or dispute resolution. Service providers may process information on behalf of Houston Food Fanatics or Coffee X Media to provide hosting, data storage, spam prevention, email delivery and other requested services.

Your choices and privacy requests

Use the site’s Privacy choices control to manage optional site measurement. Your browser also provides cookie and storage controls. To ask about your information, request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, use the Contact page and identify the request as a privacy request. Include enough information to locate the relevant interaction, but do not send passwords, payment information or unnecessary sensitive data. Verification may be needed before account-related information can be disclosed or changed.
