Noon Mirch Brings Back Its Indian Lunch Buffet in Clear Lake

A familiar lunch option is back for Clear Lake diners. Noon Mirch Kitchen + Bar has restored its Indian lunch buffet, bringing back a service the restaurant discontinued during the 2020 pandemic.

The buffet is now offered daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. CultureMap reports pricing of $17 Monday through Thursday and $20 Friday through Sunday, with an expanded $25 Grand Buffet planned for holidays and special occasions.

Lunch buffets were once a common part of Houston’s Indian restaurant scene, giving diners an easy way to sample several curries, rice dishes, breads and sides in a single visit. Many disappeared or were reduced during the pandemic as restaurants changed service models.

Bringing the format back gives Noon Mirch a reason to stand out at lunch while also restoring an experience some regulars may have missed for years.

The biggest practical detail is that Noon Mirch is offering the buffet seven days a week. That makes it useful for weekday lunch crowds and weekend diners rather than restricting the service to a single day.

The restaurant also announced an expanded Grand Buffet for holidays and special occasions. Those versions will cost more, but the larger format gives Noon Mirch room to turn the buffet into an event rather than just a recurring lunch option.

A launch perk for early buffet diners

To mark the return, the restaurant said the first 100 buffet diners each day would receive a complimentary mimosa. Promotional details can change, so guests specifically going for that offer should confirm it is still active.

Noon Mirch is in the Clear Lake area, making the buffet especially relevant for diners around Webster, Nassau Bay, League City and southeast Houston who want an Indian lunch option without driving into the center of the city.
